Today was a crazy day of driving especially because with the end so close in sight....we just wanted to get home!  We got an early start to the day, leaving the hotel at 7:15, as we were scheduled to meet with our landlord to pick up keys at 3:30, and there were a couple of stops that we wanted to make along the way - Colin had never before seen the Big Nickel in Sudbury, and we wanted to stop and pick up some fresh wild blueberries for Andrea's mom along the way.


We also discovered that deer cross the road at 2pm in the afternoon, which was a little surprising, but really pretty to see her dash across the highway.  Luckily the other motorists also slowed to allow her to cross.


We arrived in Toronto happy to be in our new home.  We unloaded the car and left the kitties to explore the new house because we went up to Andrea's mom's house for the evening as she had a bed and was willing to feed us after our long day of driving.


The A/C and firm bed was a real treat!  Now looking forward to when the packing truck arrives...
